Entry requirements to Finland
All visitors, also children and spouses, need to have a personal passport valid for international travel. Some nationalities need to have their passports valid a few months (e.g. 6 months) after their stay in Finland. Please, make sure your passport covers entry requirements for all countries on your journey, before and after Finland. Passports need to be in good condition and contain all original pages and elements.
Finland is member of the European Union (EU) and part of the Schengen area.
Please, check early and before purchasing any non-refundable travel services, If you need a visa to enter Finland, European Union or any country on your journey. When applying for a visa report all countries to be visited in order to get a right type of visa. If you journey involves visits to countries inside and outside of the EU or Schengen area, make sure your visa will include necessary number of entries (double or multiple depending on case) for a particular country or area. With a single entry visa you are not able to make a side trip to another country or area and to return back as the single entry was already used.
